Have a fabulous stay this gorgeous cottage with a pretty garden in the Suffolk coastal town of Aldeburgh. Sleeping four guests, and welcoming pets, it has two bedrooms and a beautifully finished interior, which includes a wood burner. The cottage is 0.5 miles from the seafront and about the same distance from the lively heart of the town, with its many independent shops, boutiques, galleries, pubs and restaurants. The property is ideal for exploring the Suffolk Heritage Coast or heading inland to beautiful countryside.

Let yourselves in to receive a bright, warm welcome in accommodation that still retains its character yet offers modern-day comfort. Unwind in the lounge, where there is a TV and DVD, plus a selection of books and games. Light the wood burner in here on chilly days. Head through the kitchen, which opens on to the garden, to prepare tasty snacks and meals for your party to enjoy at the table in the dining room or outside. There is also a family bathroom downstairs. When eyelids begin to droop, climb the stairs to lay your head in either the double or the twin bedroom. Make the most of the delightful garden here, watching the children carefully by the pond and lighting the fire pit in the evening to enable you to stay out longer. Parking for this cottage is on the road, subject to availability.

Plan trips out to Snape Maltings, 5.5 miles away, where you can browse in the many shops, choose between eateries and book to see a concert in the world-famous hall. You can also take boat trips out along the river from here. Have a day out to the National Trust’s Sutton Hoo, 14.5 miles away, where you can experience the unique, historic site that was once an Anglo-Saxon royal burial ground.

Lovely cottage, well equipped apart from no DVD player as stated in description. Clean apart from the coffee table in the lounge and some of the windows. Good location.

We really enjoyed our stay at Lazyjacks. The location was fantastic, with easy access to the beach, town centre and main road routes. It was also very handy for popping to the supermarket for supplies. We did not always manage to find a parking spot on the road itself but there was ample parking in side roads slightly further up. The cottage was Read morea perfect size for two people and was generally well kitted out. The garden was great to avoid having to take the dogs on leads for their evening toilet trip. We found the bed to be very comfortable and there was plenty of storage space for luggage. Hide

Enjoyed our stay. The property is easy walking distance for the centre of Aldeburgh with the co-op and Tesco just a couple of minutes walk away. The red house is also easy to reach on foot and we explored country footpaths away from the town that we hadn't noticed before. Cottage was very cosy and well located for walks into countryside or around Aldeburgh. Parking was not too bad, occasionally needed to park in next street requiring about 200 steps or so. Tesco and co-op very close and convenient
