For an unforgettable holiday with plenty of perks, look no further than this barn conversion. Suitable for a small family and their dog, you’ll be able to enjoy staying on a working farm, dipping in the hot tub and challenging each other to tournaments in the shared games room.

When you walk into the barn, you’ll be greeted by the sitting room. It’s a gorgeous and rustic space with exposed beams and reclaimed slate floors, warmed by a wood burner and underfloor heating. Continue through to see a dining area and a kitchen, both the perfect size for a little group. When it’s time to take a break, head up to the bedrooms. There’s a king-size and a twin, each furnished with Hypnos beds for ultimate relaxation. The bathroom has a corner shower and a bath for a relaxing soak. Outside, the patio area is private, completed by a shaded table and chairs and a divine hot tub. Bubble your troubles away, hop out and nibble some food, then return for another dip. You’ll also have access to some shared spaces. There’s an open-plan living area which acts as a diner, lounge and games room in one, and has table football and table tennis. Finally, allow your children and dog to romp on the communal garden with its large lawn with mature trees and shrubs.

If you’re looking for a day at the beach, light shopping and maybe a meal out, take a trip to Aldeburgh (5 miles). Snape Marshes (3 miles) is an amazing spot for wildlife, including ponies, otters, kingfishers and much more. Finally, take in local history at Leiston Abbey (4 miles), a fascinating ruin.

We rented all three cottages for a big family celebration, we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Rooms are spacious and comfortable (thankful for the fans it was hot) We had everything that we could possibly have needed for cooking, washing and drying clothes. We made good use of the hot tub and the large green area outside. Lots to do in the beautifRead moreul surrounding areas. Hide

Things we loved = the hot tub, the location was good. Easy access to Saxmundham for supermarkets etc. Close to Aldeburgh and Southwold etc. The Christmas Barn was nice for a wander. Good quality towels, comfy beds. Dishwasher tabs, tea towel, washing up liquid and scourer/dish cloth provided.

Good location for us, kitchen utensils poor, only 2 saucepans, 1 v small, other v large. Not enough cupboard space for food, The twin bedroom, no wardrobe space, nowhere to put toiletries in bathroom. Floorboards very creaky in all upstairs rooms.

4 for cleanliness as you can see thick layers of dust on the spotlights and other out of reach areas. Overall it was good and very friendly. one major thing is the website never mentioned that we could not leave our pet in the property in which we found very hard as we would of liked to go out to dinner on some occasions without the dog. This needsRead more to be mentioned when booking.
