We had a wonderful week, the weather was good and we walked for miles over Westleton Common and Heath as well as all around RSPB Minsmere and Dunwich Heath - no need to go anywhere else apart from Saxmundham for supplies. As in previous visits we were warm and comfortable in the cottage, which is spacious. It's a pity more guests don't fill the bRead moreird feeders as there weren't many visits from birds or the squirrels. Hoping to come again next year. Hide

We loved staying in Westleton, it's a great location for seeing the Suffolk coast and all it has to offer. We really enjoyed staying in White Clouds and were very comfortable there. There is plenty of equipment in the kitchen, comfortable beds and lovely garden to sit out in. Absolutely one of our favourite holiday properties. Location and atmosphere is brilliant. In our opinion the cost is great value.

We are seasoned holiday cottage renters (some 30+ years' worth) and so we found the cottage is functional but we had the impression that the owner/agent were not going the extra mile to make it comfortable rather than just functional eg poor TV set up on a table that was perilously unstable, a mish mash of kitchen crockery etc etc. A little bit moRead morere effort and it would have been much better. All really summed up by the "Guests comment book" ie bog standard notebook - and with no entries for several months. Hide

A comfortable, quiet and generally well equipped bungalow in a lovely location with fantastic walks from the door. The garden was lovely - well tended at the front and attractively natural at the back.

This was our third visit to this lovely cottage with its unusual and interesting garden, although the first time at this time of year. It did not disappoint and we feel it was one of the best holidays we've had - lots of walking on Westleton Heath, Dunwich Heath and RSPB Minsmere. The weather was kind and we were very comfortable at the cottage. Read more Despite the bird feeders in the garden it seems that not many visitors bother to fill the feeders as we didn't see as many birds on the feeders as we expected. Interesting to see a muntjac deer in the garden more than once. We'll be back - thank you for letting us stay here. Hide

Peaceful location just outside a pretty village, but good road connections to many places of interest. Comfortable beds and other furniture, well-equipped kitchen. Surrounded by a large garden with good furniture.

We had a few issues 1. Cooker temperature control appears faulty. 2. En-suite underfloor heating not working 3. Main bathroom sink tap very difficult to turn off. 4. Main one is smell of dead mouse in back bedroom. Got to smell so bad we had to leave early (Thursday) 5. Very Dated - needs tlc. 6. Internet signal quite poor

Generally very good. Spacious and light, comfortable beds, good location. Wet room badly designed - whole floor becomes wet -> have to mop & dry floor before you can use the toilet or washbasin. House cold and feeling damp when we arrived, but warmed up by next day after heating came on. Poor selection of crockery, random mix of bowls. No sign on Read morehouse to say no. 1 or White Clouds - need to update directions. Hide

The welcome basket was much appreciated. The beds and sofas were very comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped but the bathroom and wetroom were awful. They look very good but they do not work. Not having a shower over the bath meant that everyone had to use the en suite to shower. The water in the shower in the wetroom had to be run for aboutRead more 5 minutes to get any hot water. That is an awful waste of drinking water. Then the flow was just a trickle. It made washing your hair quite difficult. After using the shower it left the wetroom unusable as it took more than 6 hours to dry out. The TV is from a different era and needs to be updated. Hide
