The popular seaside town of Southwold is 11 miles away and you can also enjoy day trips to the Broads, with Oulton Broad just 6 miles away. In the evenings, unwind in the bubbling hot tub or snuggle up with a glass of wine by the cosy wood burner.
The lodge sits amongst similar holiday homes, in a delightful seaside complex. The bright and breezy accommodation is decorated in a contemporary style, with little pops of colour throughout. At the heart of the home is an open-plan lounge/diner, with a Smart TV, wood burner, and spectacular views across the beach. Just off the living area is a sleek kitchen, with everything you need for a stress-free, self-catering break. The lodge has three inviting bedrooms and a stylish family bathroom. Outside, the enclosed garden looks out across Kessingland’s beach, and has a choice of areas for relaxation, including a swing bench, sun loungers, and hot tub. You’ll also find outdoor furniture and a BBQ for al fresco entertaining.
Kessingland’s rural beach is made up of sand and shingle, and is a lovely spot for a peaceful picnic and fossil hunting. At the far end of the beach is Benacre National Nature Reserve, which is home to a fascinating array of rare seabirds. You’ll be close to some excellent family attractions, including Africa Alive Zoological Reserve (1.5 miles), where you can meet the resident lions, giraffes, and meerkats. Heading south, you’ll soon reach Southwold, a thriving seaside resort with a sandy beach, colourful beach huts, traditional arcades, and a great range of eateries.
