This charming old fisherman's cottage is the perfect bolt hole for a well deserved holiday.  Located in a quiet, coastal residential area, close to the Norfolk/Suffolk border it is just 350 metres from Pakefield beach and all of its amenities. With breezy coastal walks and the network of footpaths in Corton Woods (5 miles), walkers will be spoiled for choice. When you consider the abundance of bird watching opportunities, sea fishing, cycling, boat hire, windsurfing and speedboat racing, it's easy to see why this part of the coast is so popular. Discover Great Yarmouth, Norfolk's Golden Mile(14 miles), and enjoy all the traditional seaside attractions and more. Or head for Southwold (10.5 miles), with its famous painted beach huts, for peace and quiet with an artistic twist. Within 17 miles, both the RSPB Minsmere and the National Trust Dunwich Heath bird reserves are must-visit destinations for bird watchers, while Norwich, with its famous cathedral, is ideal for retail therapy (25 miles).

Hang up coats and shoes as you enter this charming, character-filled and quirky house and proceed through the hallway to the cosy lounge, where you can snuggle up in front of the wood burner and watch TV or read a book after a day of exploring. The kitchen, located next to the lounge, is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need to prepare delicious meals and the ground floor is completed by the family bathroom. When it's time to sleep, climb the stairs to find two warm and comfortable bedrooms, one double and one twin room.

We had a lovely stay at Beach Hut cottage. It was easy to find, had great parking and is so close to the beach, our 1 year old could walk there happily every day in every weather. This kitchen was well stocked and it was lovely to come in to a tea bag pot, coffee and a pint of milk after our long journey there. The housekeeper was kind and consRead moreiderate and all the information we needed was provided. They dont have a cot or high chair available. We used it as a base to see friends nearby so didnt explore the local area much but everyone we did meet were very friendly and helpful. The water is hot and the shower and bath were both very good especially to warm up after a day on the beach in February. The heating also works well so we always came home to a warm house which was great. We highly recommend staying here and would definitely stay there again. Hide

Comfortable and very clean cottage, well equipped and a wonderful beach for walks just 5mins around the corner! It was an ideal base for exploring lots of nature reserves for beautiful Winter Walks. You dont have to drive too far to have plenty of options for long walks and wildlife! It was sub zero when we stayed and the cottage stayed very cosy.
