Abbey View is a fabulously spacious and luxurious property. The décor throughout is stylish and contemporary yet exudes comfort. Nestled in a quiet corner on the outskirts of a vibrant town, overlooking Leiston Abbey, this is the perfect retreat for larger families or friends to enjoy the Suffolk heritage coast and all that it has on offer.
Enter the hub of the house, the open plan living/dining area. There is certainly room for everyone to gather in this wonderful living space, whether you are sitting relaxing with a glass of wine, revelling in a good movie or just catching up on the day’s adventures, this is the ideal place for it. The well-equipped kitchen has everything you will need for your holiday and because it flows from the sitting room everyone can roll up their sleeves and get involved. Enjoy early morning coffee and croissants on the sunny patio outside or catch the last of the evening sun with a gin and tonic. Why don’t dine al fresco around on balmy evenings.
The accommodation is light and airy, set out across 2 floors. There are two zip and link bedrooms on the ground floor (that join to make king and super king beds). Both have patio doors where you can enjoy the morning sun or rural views. There is also a large walk-in shower room on the ground floor. Upstairs the master bedroom has an upholstered king bed and balcony. Next door is the family bathroom with free standing bath and walk in shower. The owners have thought of everything and made the mezzanine area a study space and quiet area for reading or catching up on emails.

Situated within the town of Leiston which is only 2 miles inland from the Suffolk coast, Abbey View has an abundance of interesting places to visit and things to do nearby. Coastal villages and towns lie close by and Abbey View benefits from having Sizewell beach also nearby. It is dog friendly with no restrictions and benefits from a mix of sand and pebbles so don’t forget the bucket and spade! Alternatively, an easy 10 minute drive can take you to many popular coastal destinations such as Thorpeness, Aldeburgh and Dunwich, and a little further afield but still within half and hours drive to the North are the seaside locations of Walberswick and Southwold. The Long Shop Museum, which is based at the heart of the town, offers a fantastic insight into the industrial history of the town. The nearby leisure centre offers a gym and swimming pool and is only a short drive from Abbey View. The RSPB Minsmere is a particular highlight and offer a great day out for ornithologists, families, and walkers alike! Leiston benefits from a local co-op supermarket and two corner shops, as well as some lovely local cafes/eateries to enjoy.
