I have never seen a cleaner or better equipped holiday cottage, it has pretty much everything. That it is cosy and right in the heart of Lavenham only adds to its charm. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The cottage was warm and cosy despite some rather wet weather, and we really appreciated the milk, cake and tea/coffee left for us on our arrival after a long journey. The kitchen is very well equipped, the beds are really comfortable and the living room had an interesting collection of books to browse. An excellent stay.

Coppers couldn't be in a more perfect position within Lavenham. Without being slap bang in the main hub of the attractions, you are only 2 minutes away from everything. And what a perfect, quirky, beautiful village, with a blend of independent shops, choice of grocery outlets, tea rooms and pubs / restaurants - all easily accessible and good varietRead morey of choice. And, if walking is important, then there are a number of stunning walks starting almost from the doorstep (Though some are a little overgrown right now, which is likely due to the 'damp' start to this summer) It is also a short drive away from many attractions, such as NT etc, so Coppers is ideally situated for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday within the Suffolk area. On street parking was never a problem for us, and we always managed to park right across the road from the property. We were also very impressed to find that all the little details were covered in this property, with enough hand wash, kitchen rolls, tea, coffee, sugar, dishwasher tablets, to say nothing of the milk and cake on arrival - thank you Coppers. The only downside for us was the garden. We select our holiday properties with certain things on our wish list, and an enclosed garden is one of them. We enjoy eating outside and sitting out in the evenings, to enjoy a glass of wine (or cup of tea) as the sun sets. Despite a pleasant looking garden in the photos for Coppers (And the cottage info stating that a gardener visits every 2 weeks??) The garden is tired. The furniture is old and dilapidated, the patio is mossy and dirty, and the bushes and shrubs overgrown. It's a real shame, because it's nothing that an afternoon with a jet wash, shears and maybe some furniture restoration couldn't put right. Hide

We had a reasonable holiday overall but the outside space left a lot to be desired and was certainly not in a good clean well maintained state like the photos of the property had led us to believe.Upstairs bedrooms were adequate although the bath space in the en suite was very compromised .The kitchen was light and airy and very well equipped .LouRead morenge was ok .The location of the property was excellent and parking was easy on the road outside . Excellent property, covers the important basics such as comfortable beds and hot water (not always a given) but also has a superbly equipped kitchen and is in a fabulous location. The stairs are a bit steep so consider that if you have mobility issues and the eaves bathroom isn't suitable for anyone over 5' tall (at 6' I had to fosbury flop out of Read morethe bath). That said we would definately stay here again. Hide

Good location, clean and tidy. Plenty of space for two, but squished for four adults, especially with the shower room downstairs. Nice heated floor for shower room. Steep stairs. Comfortable sitting room and well stocked kitchen. Nice enclosed outdoor area. WiFi worked well and was fast.
