Sleeping six guests, and offering dog-friendly accommodation, the handsome property is in an enviable on the edge of the Suffolk village. Some 350 metres from beach, the cottage is also just a rowing boat ferry ride away from Southwold Harbour and 1.5 miles from the centre of the popular Suffolk town.
Step into the red brick cottage to find it has two lounges for you to spread out and enjoy. The main lounge has a wood burner that you can fire up on after your autumn and winter walks along the Suffolk Heritage Coast. There is also a TV in here to relax in front of. The second lounge, which has a sofa bed, is a great place to steal a quiet moment or two with your book. Also downstairs is a welcoming kitchen/diner, where you can prepare the fresh fish you have bought in Southwold Harbour and where you can dine together. There is also a WC. Climb the stairs up to the first floor to find the family bathroom, as well as a king-size bedroom, a twin room, with an additional Z-bed, and a room with a small double in it. There is a courtyard at the cottage, where you can enjoy a cup of tea and freshly baked Suffolk cake out in the fresh air. Guests will receive a permit for the public car park.
Spend sunny days on the beach at Walberswick and take the children crabbing at the harbour over in Southwold. Walk up into the town through the dunes to discover its spectrum of shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants. See the lighthouse and walk 0.5 miles from the centre of town along the seafront to the pier.
