This one-of-a-kind retreat is set in the countryside village of Whepstead in Suffolk. With one bedroom, it offers couples a peaceful escape with some very special neighbours for company. The meadow to the rear is home to two gorgeous Donkeys and you are welcome to join them – the owners have even provided a luxurious garden pod so you can sit right next to them!

Enjoy home-cooked meals at the two-seater dining table with views towards the garden outside. The kitchen is small but well-equipped, with all the amenities needed to create a culinary feast. Also on the ground floor is a shower room, while upstairs, the super-king-size bedroom awaits, with glorious views of the garden. We had a warm welcome and a nice stay, loved the animals, mainly the cocky behavior of the Turkey. Bury st Edmunds is a nice historical town and Cambridge is easy to acces from Whepstead.
