More information about this Cottage.
Gisleham is a small friendly village in Suffolk. It lies between Carlton Colville, Lowestoft and Kessingland. It has a church with a round tower and also a few farms. It is a very rural area with some beautiful surrounding countryside. There are many places of interest within a short drive away, including the sea, and it is ideally situated for walking, cycling, fishing, golf and bird watching. Popular attractions along this Heritage Coast include the seaside town of Southwold, with its interesting shops, restaurants, pier and sandy beaches; Benacre Nature Reserve; boating at nearby Oulton Broad, the charming resort of Walberswick, for decades the retreat of the rich and the famous, and historic Lowestoft which retains a fishing fleet, and the Marina Theatre.
The Old School Rooms is part of the converted Gisleham Old School and is now a single storey, deceptively spacious and attractively furnished property. It is situated in an isolated rural position surrounded by arable farmland, a short distance from Holy Trinity Church but within easy reach of local amenities, beaches and places of interest.
