More information about this Cottage.

Aldeburgh and the surrounding area has inspired many authors and poets in the past but the most famous son of the town is Benjamin Britten, who founded the Aldeburgh Music Festival, which now has worldwide acclaim and is held every year in June at Snape Maltings. Fishermen still pull their colourful boats up on the shingle beach and sell fresh fish from the picturesque huts. The wide, mainly Georgian high street has many attractive buildings whilst the seafront properties all have commanding views of the beach and the North Sea. Boating is popular on the nearby Alde estuary where a large variety of yachts can be seen at summer weekends.

Pine Lodge is a 'Colt' timber framed, cedar clad bungalow built from sustainable and ecologically sound materials. If you like open plan contemporary interiors then Pine Lodge is the holiday home for you.  Perfect for grown-up groups and particularly suited to families with younger children, the single level and spacious lay-out is light and airy with plenty of room for everyone to enjoy.  Comfortable and yet unobtrusive the interior furnishings are design conscious without detracting from the simplicity and retro feel of the house and the beauty of the surrounding environment.

The large enclosed garden offers space, privacy and a fabulous place to relax and enjoy the natural environment.  Whether you're sitting outside on the large deck with a cup of tea or inside the conservatory with a glass of wine watching the birds and muntjac who are regular visitors to the garden.  With an acre of land there is plenty of room for a game of football or cricket and the huge trampoline and fantastic treehouse are always a hit with younger guests.  (Trampoline and treehouse require adult supervision and are to be used entirely at guest's own risk.)
