More information about this Cottage.
Snape is best known as the venue for the Aldeburgh Festival and for other events throughout the year held in the Maltings Concert Hall. However, the village, at the head of the tidal estuary, is a popular holiday venue in its own right and central for exploring the unique area of the Suffolk Heritage Coast - the tidal estuary and network of footpaths are one of the most interesting areas of Suffolk for exploring on foot. There is easy access to the coastal town of Aldeburgh, plus castles and much more to explore at Framlingham and Orford. The burial treasures at Sutton Hoo, near Woodbridge, should not be missed either.
Jubilee Cottage is on the edge of the village and adjoins the owner's mid-Victorian house in an elevated position on the north side of the Alde Estuary, with nearby footpath access to the reedbeds and tidal estuary. It is an interesting and comfortably furnished residence in tranquil surroundings with use of the owner's tennis court.
