The Old Stable (H06)

Set deep in the midst of the Suffolk countryside, yet only a few miles from the A14, the A140 and the A12, Witnesham is a pleasant village with a popular pub, The Barley Mow and a fruit and vegetable wholesaler which also sells local eggs milk and fruit juice. (Both can be reached within a few minutes of The Old Stable.) Fynn Valley Golf Club, open to non-members, is nearby. Historic Ipswich with its theatres, shops, restaurants and frequent rail service to London, is four miles away and a good bus service from the village goes there and to some of the other mid Suffolk villages.

The arable and grazing land around Manor Farm is now worked by a neighbouring farmer. The farmhouse which dates back to the 15th century is situated down a narrow lane, beside the church and a stream  The Old Stable has been converted to a high standard whilst retaining original features and a rustic charm, providing extremly pleasant self-catering holiday accommodation for 4/6 people. Notes: Although children are welcome at The Old Stable, parents must be fully aware that the grounds are totally open and there is a stream nearby. Extra care must be taken at all times.
