More information about this Cottage.
Snape is best known as the venue for the Aldeburgh Festival and for other events throughout the year held in the Maltings Concert Hall. However, the village, at the head of the tidal estuary, is a popular holiday venue in its own right and central for exploring the unique area of the Suffolk Heritage Coast - the tidal estuary and network of footpaths are one of the most interesting areas of Suffolk for exploring on foot. There is easy access to the coastal town of Aldeburgh, plus castles and much more to explore at Framlingham and Orford. The burial treasures at Sutton Hoo, near Woodbridge, should not be missed either.
8 Blyth Cottages is a spacious semi-detached property situated on the edge of the village centre adjacent to fields and offers thoughtfully prepared and well presented accommodation. The village shop and post office are opposite, and the pubs are within walking distance (down hill to them!) so one is not reliant on a car despite having the rural outlook from the back and to the side of the house.
