More information about this Cottage.
The villages of Brandeston and Cretingham are between four and five miles south west of the historic market town of Framlingham, with its famous castle (Mary Queen of Scots was a prisoner there) and full complement of shops and pubs. Brandeston and Cretingham are surrounded by rolling countryside and each has a popular pub, a small village shop and a church. The Cretingham Golf Club is open to non-members and has a pay and play course.
The Potash is situated between Brandeston and Cretingham in a large garden, with views over fields and the upper reaches of the River Deben. The house is detached and was mainly constructed in the 16th century. The roof is thatched and there are plenty of original period features, including exposed beams, wonky wooden floors, low ceilings and doorways. Shop: 4 miles Pub: 1 mile
