More information about this Cottage.
Peasenhall lies along a valley running east to west and Peasenhall's main street (the A1120) runs alongside the 'Causeway' - a brook, which is now a culvert with bridges across it. On either side are pretty cottages, some in traditional Suffolk pink, some thatched, others slated or roofed with pantiles. The nearest pub is only a 20 minute walk away to The White Horse in Sibton. Peasenhall has a village stores, a renowned delicatessen, a family butchers and cafe. It's an ideal location from which to explore Suffolk's country footpaths and country lanes as well as exploring the pretty villages and market towns along the Suffolk Heritage Coast which is a short fifteen minutes away. Varieties of footpaths lead from the village out over open fields and are ideal for walking or cycling.
Quieter in high season than the coast itself but close to Aldeburgh, Walberswick and Southwold is Feather Cottage. A former ale house, this one double bedroom property was originally built around 1470. The spacious double room was added later and is possibly Jacobean and the kitchen, lobby and bathroom are early 20th century. Feather Cottage is furnished to a simple style that assists an authentic feel but all the modern conveniences are in place. Shop: 100 yds Pub: 0.75 mile
