Bury St Edmunds is close by and the Norfolk and Suffolk Coast is another option for a day trip with the family. There are excellent local pubs and restaurants in the neighbouring towns. A wonderful farm shop two miles away provides a wide selection of high-quality local food, with fresh fish on Saturdays.
Clayden's is an extended thatched cottage - one of two - in a delightfully rural location surrounded by fields, half a mile outside the small village of Foxearth. There are several footpaths from the cottage and it is very near to the South Suffolk cycle route.
