Sizewell is a small hamlet on the coast approximately 5 miles south of Aldeburgh. There are shops, pubs and restaurant here as well as at Leiston approximately 2 miles away. The area has something for everyone - for birdwatchers there's the RSPB reserve at Minsmere, North Warren and Havergate Island, 18-hole golf courses at Thorpeness, Aldeburgh and Woodbridge, boating, tennis at Thorpeness and sailing at Aldeburgh.

Just 50 yards from the beach, and next door to the owner, Ilex House is semi-detached. Parts of the property date back to the1830's.  The house is perched on the cliff at Sizewell a mile or so from the power station and has great sea views. There is a large garden with steps that lead directly to the beach. Shop: 3 miles  Pub:  1 1/2 miles
