“We sure aren’t perfect but we’re trying to do the right
thing!”
Here at the Old Water Tower we want to leave things a little bit better than
we find them and so we are proud to be an active part of our community
where we live and work. Here are some of the ways we try to do the right thing:
- We are always trying to find ways to reduce our carbon emmissions as a
business as well as sourcing ethically sound and ecologically sound products
to
use ourselves.
- We are actively promoting the sourcing of local produce
and services by
our customers
- We are also active members of the Southwold Chamber of Commerce and we
get involved in various other projects as & when they come up.
- In particular we are very proud to have raised more than £12,000
for The Suffolk Coast & Heaths CONNECT Scheme which raises money for
conservation projects on The Heritage Coast.
- We hope that leading by example at The Old Water Tower by doing good things
we will inspire others to follow!
